QME’s

What is a QME?

That‘s short for Qualified Medical Evaluation.  A QME-designated doctor has met all the educational and

licensing requirements by the state’s DWC (Department of Workers’ Compensation).  To be state certified,  doctors must pass DWC tests and continue their education about Workers‘ Compensation evaluation procedures and processes. These doctors provide the pool from which the randomly selected QME panel is generated.
